I told you...below 6. I think we will struggle again at the weekend and unfortunately I don’t see us progressing against Kilmarnock in the cup.
For what it’s worth I really hope we win the Scottish Cup and win all our remaining matches. I can’t see any of that happening and let’s be honest, is there any Dons fan that thinks we will win the Scottish Cup?
McInnes as you well know is struggling at this time and this is when we will truly get an insight into how he performs under real pressure. The man says he has ambition so let’s see it then Derek. Ambitious teams don’t accept defeat easily.
Do I think we will win the Scottish cup?, probably not.
Do I think we have a chance and are capable of getting to the final? Definately
Once your in the final, anything can happen, so its still a possibility.
I think realistically, we'll get at least 5 or 6 wins for the remainder of the season.
The cup games remain the higher importance.
One game at a time though, a win on Saturday, coupled with a defeat of SevCo on Sunday means we are just three points behind them with a game in hand.
Hearts to beat Hibs on Friday would make it a perfect weekend.
So every time there is "contact" it's a foul?
When did fitba stop being a contact sport?
F u c k me, this "contact" p!sh is the type of sharn spouted by hand-jobs like Andy Walker and Billy Dodds.
Going down when you feel "contact" is cheating, end of story.
And any justification of it is just modern fitba fannyb@baws c u n t ishness.
He took advantage of some appalling defending. In proper mannies fitba it’s never a penalty but with the standard of our refs, you’re always likely to be giving one away,
McInnes wouldn’t need to have mentioned it if him & the players did their jobs well. It’s deflection
Depends on the type of contact.
You're allowed contact with the opposition i.e. shoulder to shoulder, but you can't clip the legs of a player running into the box (or indeed anywhere on the pitch)
Jones had the advantage as he came across Logan, at that point, Logan needed to adjust his run to stop going through the back of the diving Jones.
The relevance is that McInnes's position is that there was no contact. That was clearly not the case. As I said it looked a possibility that the boy was going down prior to Logan running into the back of him. In that case its definitely not a pen. I agree that it is not a non contact sport but if the referee deems a player has impeded another by running into the back of him then he is entitled to give a pen.
For what its worth I think Jones probably dived.
