Can people remember those turquoise invalid cars they used to let park at the touch lines in the 70s
I was always really jealous when I was stood freezing my nips off

Just think that one out. Imagine you, yourself sitting on a shooting stick with all of the crowd around you standing. Your bright ideas are just typical.

you dont realise the old farts and those wanting to sit are killing the atmosphere at games
even manure are thinking of dropping prices etc to get young ones back watching footy

if you want to sit down go to a pub and sit down in the warm and watch t
give the young uns a chance to enjoy themselves

yiu lot have had your go

next you will want under seat heating etc

and i dont know if you have ever got out your arm chair and tried a shooting stick but i would say there wasnt a great deal of differance between a tall lad on a shooting stick or a young lad on his tip toes

I used to go to the match with my dad and my grandad.

now I go with my son's.

one day I hope to have grandsons to go with.

while I'm all for safe standing areas, there needs to be provision for all ages, shapes, sizes and capabilities... end of!

but you cant mix standing and seating mick
so whilst you might want to sit down due to your age your kids might want to pogo and surge and jump around and sing
    like we used to

the game has lost its identity
and the prem in gemeral regards atmosphere is no where near as good as in the majority of countries

    we might get big gates

but you might as well beam it back live to the local gala bingo hall in most cases

    This.

You can't have football just for those that want to stand.

Like everything in life, all sorts of people enjoy football.

PL grounds are big enough to accomodate all preferences. Having safe standing is a no brainer - something needs to be done to improve the atmosphere and you´d increase capacity and have an area that´s cheaper for some supporters to get in to.
