LOL lol why should he, he makes a very valid point. Why not tell Gfire to keep his nose out when he goes on about the anti capitalist nonsense? Surely that's political stuff on here you profess to not liking! Got to be consistent owd lad.

What did you think that completely pointless casino subplot was about then?

Not seen the film all I know is that Star Wars is hardly a vehicle of left wing politics.

And Grist: naughty, naughty was it not you on another post who was saying you are fed up with all the political stuff. Come on do you want political stuff on here or not? Make your mind up. Or is it just your political stuff you want?

My thoughts are that the first one was a poor remake of the original film and the last jedi was one of the worst films I've ever seen.
Again just my thoughts, but I thought the first one was an excellent film. It had characters from the original plus the Millennium Falcon. For me the 2 films are all about set up and transition. So the first one was to set up new characters while bringing through the nostalgia and feeling from the first three films. Which is why you could call it a remake (but I don't think it was poor). The Last Jedi was an attempt at making a darker film while again setting up characters for the next film. Its hard to create something that everyone from age 4 to 100 will love. The first 3 films were aimed at kids. These 2 had to try to be more than that.

Careful Mr Morgan, don't let your brains go to your head.
