The type of players that cost money
We've had to make do without them for about 50 years

So I can't see it changing
The club is scared, scared sh@tless of mistakes in the transfer market so it adopts the method that ten smaller mistakes is better than one big one.

When in actual fact Its more difficult to move 10 mistakes on better money than League One and Two on than it is to move one proven player on who just happens to have had a bad time at a particular club

Jordan Rhodes being just one example.
Total failure at the swill but still able to find somebody that wants him based on the fact that he's proven quality

No pace, No creativity. No movement. Anyone that thinks thats nothing to worry about is a phucking idiot. Couple that with a complete lack of ideas from set pieces and I wonder where goals will come from. How can anyone play Lundstarm and Evans together.

Need a few more in unfortunately.

i would say at least 3 more in cant understand the duffy situation hes just got to start every game even if he can only last 60 mins think we might have been a bit hasty getting rid of holmes looked lively in pre season and would certainly have given us something different yesterday

Wasn't Holmes that one that none of us thought was good enough, he goes to Oxford on Friday, and now he's the answer..? Even for us that's a quick redemption.

It could be countered that people panicking at every available opportunity are f uckin idiots and the ones not losing their heads are the sane rational people

    All abart opinions apparently

I think the hype didn’t help. Some great new signings, Waghorn deal was still on the table. Managed to keep JOC and Fleck (for now at least). Very positive fans forum. Then we step onto the pitch and let ourselves down. Creativity was missing for sure but I strongly felt the camaraderie between the players that was so evident in last two seasons had gone.

Early days yet but a few warning signs to deal with.

Really makes me laugh some folk prefer to ignore what's in front f them and believe it ain't so.
    Evans and Lundstrum together are s h i t. They were s h i t last season and they'll be s h it this season if picked.
They impact negatively on Fleck reducing him to average and confused.
Stevens is not a Championship above mid table player.
We are geriatric up top with zero pace.
We are predictable and easy to defend against with the odd exception eg the wonderfully constructed goal last night, our ONLY SHOT ON TARGET.

Keep ignoring the huge shortcomings that were screamingly obvious for the latter half of last season to anyone who actually watches Sheffield United with their brain present and not 10 pints and rose coloured spectacles and were sadly equally evident last night.
Obviously I'm wrong and it will all be fu c king fantastic at the Riverside.
    My bad.
