Wouldn't disagree with much that's been said but the simple truth is we have a League 1 squad playing at Championship level. Almost every game we could name 4, 5, 6... players who've had a poor game generally or made mistakes that led to us conceding but is it right to blame the players? They're not performing badly out of choice, they're doing the best they can, in the main, they're simply way out of their depth. But that's a fact of our life in the Championship, we're not competitive enough.

Players are the easy targets but before citing them I'd look to our recruitment strategy and our coaching staff.

That said, Warne and company need time to work out our best starting XI, best formation, best tactics etc and hopefully to strengthen the team. Obviously we haven't got too much time as there's little doubt at the current rate we're heading for the bottom three, then to be cast adrift with no chance of recovery. The fixtures aren't designed to instil confidence wherever we look but let's see how the staff adapt over the next 4 - 6 games. What's obvious to us is surely obvious to them (isn't it?).

Right now, it's hard to imagine three teams worse than us come seasons end - so my thanks to QPR for trying harder than everyone to secure one of those positions. Long may it continue (although a change of management can't be too far away).
