Aye but when we’ve dropped down our ‘name’ has meant we were the team everyone wanted to beat so 46 cup finals. No one else had that. Villa are this season and last and look at them. They’ve spent a lot, more than we did. You need a top manager to get you through and we had/have one.

No manager worth his salt would work for the fat parasite.Maybe in the past but he is getting found out now.Rafa is the best we will ever have with the slug in charge.
Look at the clowns before him. That is the standard the fat kunt can employ.

I didn't consider that.. Maybe your right.. But managers are greedy humans, just like players.. Flash some cash their way, and they'll put up with more than you'd believe.

Nobody. But then again we didn't.Over 2 seasons back in the Championship,Middlesbrough for 1 have spent nigh on 80 million to try and get back up.They will have used parachute payments and gambled that as yet hasn't paid off.We used money in from transfers to purchase players to get back up.
A gamble the fat slug has taken twice. If we go down again I can't see him being as lucky a third time.

That is bang on Bob but the facts never get brought up

    He's invested £250m apparently

You are missing the point that Rafa succeeded in the championship with handsome funds.

Not everybody does though.I can't see your point in this.He does his job and gets us up and it's an excuse that he spent big(when he only replaced what we sold for a profit).
In another post you say a manager on a modest budget might be what we need.So a profit of around 50m isn't a manager on a budget?
