Dear MP, will you try and get rid of our owner because he won't spend the money we all think he should.

    What can anyone possibly say.#
The man is doing nothing wrong in terms of law breaking, even if we do all want a bit more from him.

As it stands I could go with my grievance over Rafa being a depressing egotistical manager and demand he's gone.

MP's and protests all over the world will do nothing to make Ashley sell up if there's no buyer. And it certainly won't make him throw massive amounts of money at the club to appease fans who want a record broken.

But it's a football matter. Unless they want to start turning football matters into political matters on the back of this.
Can't see what it will achieve.

Nope, he was up for his working practices but i'd be willing to guess he'll end up in front of one again, then this can be used as further examples of his dishonesty and bad practise.

All of that puts pressure on him.

You could write to your MP - you'd look dafter than usual as it's down to Ashley we've got Rafa playing his football as he has to but i doubt you'll ever accept that.

It might actually make him sell up, if he starts getting hit with pressure from all sides he might well decide it's not worth and sell. You of course could be right and it does nothing but at least we'll be trying rather than doing nothing and blindly let him utterly destroy us.

You're probably right legally, although i can think of a few on here who think what he's doing in regards SD and toon is a tad illegal but they are better placed for that discussion.

That's because you're happy with Ashley.

99% of the fanbase aren't and are now willing to expand the original football protests out.

No,you Ashley lovers can't.Its funny how you don't see the point of anything against the fat kunt.
I care more about Newcastle United than the fat slug.He could drop dead right now and I would celebrate.
In years to come when the truth comes out about how he has held the club back and strangled the life out of us financially, people like yourself,I wonder how you will feel then.

    It's not a political matter.
It is apolitical matter when they are considering everything, especially the way he treats his staff.

Believe me once the establishment have the tiniest hook into him they will delve and dig until they nail him. Even if it's just claiming too much on expenses for postage stamps.

I don't doubt all of it will put pressure on him. You'd have to be a robot for it not to.
But it's not related to the football club so it's a separate pressure.
It's not going to make him do anything against his own wishes. He's a businessman and he's buying all kinds of stuff amid those pressures.

That's what I'm saying. I would look daft.
As for Rafa playing Ashley's football. Rafa is playing his own egotistical game of football as far as I'm concerned.
Using the fans to help him batter the owner.
The fans will only go so far before they explode on Rafa, if he doesn't buck his ideas up and reign his silly Mexican stand-off ego in.

He might sell up. He might be busing to sell up. But first he needs a genuine buyer for his price, regardless of what people think he should sell for or the club being too expensive.
The reality is, nobody is coming forward with the readies.

    Trying for what?
If there was a Geordie potential owner/consortium waiting in the wings then I'd be more inclined to accept something is being done.
All that's being done at the minute and has been for a while, is rocking the boat whilst the captain of the boat sits in his gyroscopic chair.

He might be but it's all speculation and hope for the worst on him by fans.

It's better the devil you know as it stands.
I certainly don't think we've had anywhere near what we could, but then again I also don't think Ashley's had too much of a jolly time either and for me, is why he's running the ship in a way that keeps it afloat but is not in any way in the mind of handing out presents.

It doesn't matter what I think of him. What matters is Newcastle UNited survives and any walk in owner does not guarantee anything like that. Ashley does and has done for 11 years, regardless of it not all being everyone's cup of tea.

It might appear there's 99% Jammy but the reality would be a tad different, I believe.

I don't see the point in what's happening right now.
    It does nobody any good.
This is a walk in the park for Ashley compared to what he's endured.
All people are doing is coating him with another layer of titanium.

The man will do what he does when he decides.
Do you think mass protests can make him just walk out and hand the club over for nothing?
If not, then tell me who's coming in to hand him the readies?

I care more about Newcastle United than any person at the club.
I'll still love Newcastle United if an owner comes in and buys us all non league players and eventually relegates us to the non league because of it.
I won't be happy but I'm a fan and supporter for life.

    When what truth comes out?

All I want is a football team/squad that is coached by a decent manager to play football.
I'm not interested whether we buy a prospect for 10p or £100 or £1 Million or 50 million, etc, as long as the club can sustain the build up of that without putting its existence in jeopardy.

I don't know what truth you're expecting to come out that'll make me do anything different as regards the club I've supported from being a small kid to present day.

I wasn't aware that he treats his staff at Newcastle in a bad way.

They'll nail him when they nail all the rest of them. Can you see it happening?
The best they'll get is likely to be a bunch of hand outs because that's what those people seem to thrive on.

Unless you think Mp's manage to buy nice big houses here and there on their salaries.
The rich don't become rich by being all giving and all sweetness, unless they're major lottery winners, potentially.

Bingo! That’s where people like Ashley (and you) don’t get it. NUFC is much more than just a business - it’s part of the city and the tradition of the area as well as sn integral part of the community. This is obvious to all real supporters (or plastics as they are sometimes called on here).

Course it's part of the city. But it's a football club and is governed by the FA and bodies like it. Not MP's.
