I despise the PC brigade more than you could know.

There is a fine line between racially discriminating and saying your mind--I get that.

But to be told what to say what not to say how you should feel and never to utter any comment for fear of being labeled "racially biased"or a "misogynist" is just plain nuts.

By the way, what is a female misogynist called???

Yes, we are all coloured some white and some not.

But if a white man generalizes and refers to people who are "Coloured" it generally means "not white".

    So what?

I never saw Robinson's "golliwog" as racial-I never viewed the golliwog in any other light than it was a logo.

I never saw the "Black and White Minstrels" as anything other than good singers and I never saw "Black Face" as anything more than make-up.

    Enter the PC idiots.
    Hallelujah!!

My missus used to be a teacher, she was expressly forbidden to describe any pupil as black, the word she was instructed to use was coloured. But that was long ago, more recently, having retired, she was talking to some young teachers and used the word coloured, they were shocked, you can't say that she was told, you must describe them as black.

The PC Brigade, you have to laugh otherwise you'd weep. Problem is the vast majority are now in thrall to them, the lunatics run the asylum.

I have always failed to understand why human skin colour causes so much debate? One lunatic on an aeroplane recently goes mental over a fellow passenger who just happens to be an arthritic suffering dark skinned person and is blocking his seat. The dudes a nut job not a racist.

We confuse and we conflate. Does anybody on here ever think about the skin colour of say Gary Sobers, David Lloyd, Pele, Messi, Clive Lloyd or John Connelly? I'm lost with it all, I really am.

Gender neutral, LBGT, PC Brigade, WTF? Across our street is a very pretty mid-30's brunette who now says she identifies as a man, but I'd still give her one. Mixed up or what?

You are a political man, BT, therefore, you have to be very careful, even if you are joking --after all, your remark could be attributed to a member of the Labour Party, which you are!

I was the Labour Party Election Agent for a British Muslim of Asian ancestry last May. Believe me or not Supersub6 the little corner shop joke came from him. I have a very clear conscience regarding the whole question of "race", simply because I don't believe in it!

Last weekend I was down at the father-in-law's and he was watching an old video recording of Bernard Manning. Ye gods! The furore old Bernard would create now would be seismic. I honestly think he would be in jail!

I'm with you on this, BT, I was just merely pointing out how those who wish to make mischief are able to do so from remarks which are made by those with affiliations.
