In my opinion there is no point in non members of DFCSS snipeing on this board when they can join the society and stand up be counted at AGM’s.
Completely overlooks that the original fee was for life. The actions of a few who grabbed contro l of DFCSS and changed the rules turned many passionate supporters away from the society.
I need not justify myself, those that know me know that I have done my bit for DFC and would do so again if required. I trust FPS, I do not trust DFCSS. I suspect there are many more like me than still believe in DFCSS

Regarding the £1 life membership, Dfcss had to change this to an annual fee, because the supporters direct version2001 was outdated and the 2016 version had to be adopted.
This was also in conjunction with the Financial Conduct Authority.

I attended the DFCSS AGM yesterday and was impressed by a well presented meeting, chaired by Ian Baird.
It was good to see that there are members who have a good knowledge of the protocols of share dealing and legal processes..
Also a few well known faces who have contributed towards the DFC in various ways.
When the yanks came in nearly six years ago, they were very open about their vision and plans for the club, now it appears that they are not so forthcoming and as a result feelings of mistrust are spreading amongst our supporters.

Don't be silly Deecom, they're all liars and cheats - just ask many of the other posters on this forum.

They're a very intelligent and articulate group that think before acting. But a few of their predecessors were disliked so some people simply HAVE TO dislike and distrust the current incumbents.

Kinda reminds me of the Simpsons episode when the geeks took control of the city council.

    Don't know why

Dave Forbes, one of the two DFCSS directors who was openly happy to see Dundee go bust to keep their blazer, is still a DFCSS director. Makes the current day board no different to 2011-13, especially if Forbes is still hostile to FPS

Who knew Forbes and co would be hostile to FPS and again, if you could stop confusing DFCSS members with the wider fanbase, I think that would be good.

So, DFCSS will refuse to see the shares to FPS and put an end to any cooperation with the club owners?

I think the issue is minutes from Aug 2010 till end of 2013, are missing, rather than a specific date. That period coincides with DFCSS's plan to take-over the club till they were chased out and a certain director resigned. Could always offer them to DFCSS to add to their website, sure that won't be an issue

I would like to see the minutes etc posted as separate thread Shaded. Just as a matter of record. In fact I hope the DFCSS board might like to use your information to reinstate them into their own archives.
