Fyvie has looked liked he's been wearing lead bates lately but he can't suddenly go from being our best player - and he was - to being worse than Callum fkn Butcher!! Stanton I've never really rated - total hit and miss but would still play him ahead of Butcher.

C'mon guys. If we are going to spend money then spend it wisely.

Dundee United have signed, subject to clearance, attacker Peter Pawlett for an undisclosed fee. Peter joins on a contract until the end of the 2021 season.

Crucial words on the write up is "Pace and Direct", something our mid field has been lacking.

Dundee United have signed midfielder Calum Butcher on an 18-month deal.

Regardless of Whitfield's reservations, I think that's a great signing.

Again delighted with the Butcher signing. Brings much needed aggression to our powder puff midfield. Centre half and striker next please

I liked Butcher first time round and he will add much needed bite to our midfield. I'm also encouraged that he and Pawlett are both signings, rather than loans. I always prefer if they have more at stake rather than us being a stop gap in their career. Might just be my perception but I'm always wary of having too many on loan.
