McMullan has 2 goals and 1 assist for the season. Fraser Aird on the other hand...

And yet you'd have to be off your nut to pick Aird instead of McMullan on current form of the latter which is much better than anything Aird showed, works harder, commits players with his direct running, only thing Aird has on McMullan is a good dead ball and a deep cross

That's why McMullan is now playing regular under Neilson and Aird is struggling to get into Queens team

If Robbie believes that he is worthy of a contract extension, then I would take a guess that he believes that he can coach him into a better player. He is improving, which suggests that the coaching may be helping. FFS, back the lad and the manager. Mcmullan is never gonna be as good as Conway became...but he might get close. I can clearly remember fans moaning about Conway being crap at the beginning...John soutar was also crap, GMS had no heart and Barry Douglas was awful......sometimes you have to trust the managers judgement.

I dont think anyone is ignoring it....they're simply living in the now and praising a lad who is playing well. If he starts to play poorly again we'll cross that bridge when we come to it
