FFS pup how the **** do you not get it? The Labour party threw everything they had at Peterborough, it was the only seat they were fighting for and every resource they have was pitched into this battle and they held on with the skin of their teeth and you see that result as no appetite for a no deal??? Deluded is the word I think.
Ok, I’ll break it down:
1. I'm saying that Labour did well, through their on the ground campaigners, to get more votes than the Brexit Party in a big Leave town. Most commentators didn’t expect that. I didn’t. But a good result to hold on in this big Leave town
2. I’m saying that this doesn’t give Labour any more confidence that their current policy on Brexit is working and that they need to change tack.
3. I’m saying that the results indicate that there is not a support in Peterborough for either Remain or a No deal Brexit
What part are you disagreeing with? If you are arguing that Peterborough is voting, on this election, for a No Deal Brexit, then please present your evidence for it.
Bit rude there Mr Kerr - it wasn't asked in any way in confrontation. I was just interested to hear your thoughts on it as many of us on the Labour side have very mixed feelings on the next Labour move on Brexit in light of the fact that negotiations haven't worked and we're shedding voters from both sides!
interesting that in last nights summary the BBC political editor mentioned that most Muslim voters would support Labour and that Peterborough has a very high number of voters whose families originally came from Italy.
Not your usual demographics, but I’m sure Corbyn is glad of their support.
Labour's "well established electoral machine" in Peterborough does sound like a euphemism for electoral fraud.
Labour are known to use "electoral fraud factories" to get their candidates elected.
https://www.theguardian.com/politics...ocalgovernmentCorrupt postmen had handed over sacks of postal ballots to Labour candidates, little boys had been paid to steal postal ballots from letterboxes and bags full of postal votes had arrived late at the count, to be included without question in the poll.
No wonder they are so against voter ID.

"Labour's "well established electoral machine"" ??!! Who coined that phrase and in what context?
And who knows Labour as "electoral fraud factories"? Never heard it before!
And if Labour suddenly declared a system of anyone being allowed to give the party £25 without name/address confirmation, as the Brexit Party do, would you say that this allows possibilities for electoral fraud of which the Labour Party will of course be guilty in your eyes (but not the Brexit Party, good God no!)?
Or are you just plain bonkers?
