There has been a clear indication in the last two elections that we don't want a No Deal Brexit and MPs are reflecting those views in Parliament.

The only precedent I can see it following is that Parliament is sovereign, which has been our constitutional position for hundreds of years. The only way an issue that is not agreed on in Parliament is resolved, is by having a winning majority vote in Parliament - that has always been how our system works. A No Deal Brexit threatens our constitution.
