After all it is their completion and they decide who plays in it as has been demonstrated overnight so they have some control but clearly not enough

I explained two days ago what I would do to change things.

It's not good enough for anyone to suggest that rules Couldn't have been any better and therefore the EFL did everything it could have done.

It needs a serious review, lessons learnt and an serious overhaul.

Although its totally irrelevant as EFL cannot unilaterally change any of its regulations without clubs approval and Chairmen voting it through.
