Doesn’t help either that Richie Barker is also an ex forward, neither know much about defence and neither were renowned for aggression in their play.

    It’s all a bit “nice”
I think we already know that he has no clue on defence and is against anyone suggesting that we need a specialist for that department but he may well listen to someone like Ronnie who will have Warny's best interests at heart.

    Yes I reckon you’re right.

Good defences don’t necessarily have top players, you can get a long way “tightening the ship” by being organised and practicing defending set pieces and offside tactics.

I’ve not seen anything on the pitch that suggests they actually do practice such things.

He's got experience around him. Ronnie, brecks, ect. Does he use it?.
5 games to sort it. If there's no glimmer by then the season will be a washout.

How much experience does Darren Moore have?

Brecks goes to the training ground a few times each week.

The reason I brought the original post up again, was because i thought Warne needed a mentor
when he got the managers job, to help him through the early manager apprenticeship.
Be it Warne still needs a mentor to help him with tactics, his side kick Barker is not pulling up any treese
in the dugout regarding advice to try and hold onto three points, I think its time for Warne to face facts,
& get another person in, & cut the old mates string attachment with Barker, after all Warne is the main fall
guy when the results don't come the Millers way.
