You have my post in front of you; it's meaning is clear enough I think. I do not say, nor even imply, that I cannot be guilty of ignorance and prejudice. I am. I merely state that the enthusiasm for Brexit among many working class people is down to ignorance and prejudice.
Howdy, there is a slight problem imo with this statement as it seems evident to me (or likely) that 'beliefs' often flow from personal circumstances and hence it is irrelevant that the Barnsley MM contingent if they were different people with different financial circumstances might well have different political leanings.
My problem with raging is not that he has family, friends and colleagues that match his description but rather that he is able always to weave them into a story that just happens to support his view of Britain as a multicultural paradise.
Outed? I'm the one who told you. Political activist. I've canvassed for labour 2 and half days in last 6 weeks, so quite a lazy one! Many on here have spent more time canvassing their political beliefs on here in that about of time.
But if the lib Dems or greens were the only opposition to the tories, I'd be out canvassing for them.
I just discuss my life, as I see it, in relation to my political views, for anyone that cares, which I admit is probably no one! As I said, it is horribly sad that any one can view a man relating what people two who I work with, who happen to be Muslim, as me toting a "multi cultural paradise". Have you any idea how sad and blinkered that makes you sound?
I consider myself working class, certainly my origins are, as are those of my wife. I do not believe working class people are more ignorant or prejudiced than anyone else. I referred to the working class in my post simply because imo it is they and their children who will suffer most from Brexit.
