Oh to have a player like him now, hard as nails, loved a tackle, remember them!!
A real fans player.had a great engine.
Up and doon that park all day.9
i mind when he got knocked oot at muirton pretty sure it was a wed night game the muirton imaginary segregation line just never worked lol
Yup spot on fella Wed night game 3-2 defeat he got knocked out when scoring or maybe setting a goal up, cant remember exactly.
Shades remains my favourite ever Dee, gave his all for the club and also his beloved Hibernian, a total professional and one of the fittest players in Scottish football at the time.
Think that made it 3-2 but we could not get the equalizer , covered enclosure was a battle gound that eve with the Derry clearing the Perth Pack out time and time again.
Dicksons of Perth garage windows panned in on the walk back to the station and the Football Special wrecked as well.
thot this thread wid flush u oot mate
u forgot to mention the never fail emergency cord pull around longforgan by guys getting aff nearer to home if i remember right we went up that year
Yes that was the usual trick on the Specials, withoot checking i am sure we did not get up that year, that defeat and anothe rone late in the season away to Dumbarton ,on a Wed night as well left us playing catch up to Hearts and Morton, could well be wrang though.
St Johnstone and Dumbarton away were at the tail end of the season if i recall.
could be right mate,ps the garages windees took mair o a beating than the perth pack
as an aside i was in edinburgh yesterday hence the pic and had a wee wander round easter rd,relived the youth esp when walking over the bridge, the bridge is now basically a shrine to brad welsh
