Prem plan to play all 92 remaining games behind closed doors at neutral grounds on live TV
Yawn
Don’t despair, GP. You’ve just won the ‘most disparate thread of the year award’.
Where else can you go from Karen Brady’s suggestions about how to preserve West Ham’s top flight status (sorry, I meant end the season fairly)...to Tricky having a strop over the Belgian judicial system, via Heysel - Sky subscriptions - season tickets - the Olympics - Brexit - karma - Adi’s youthfulness - your flu - an obscure Dutch motor racing course - the Open Golf - Jim Clark...and still get no near answering the question?
You are a winner! Off to the shops with the wife now...oh God the real cost of the health crisis. I have to venture into a Supermarket!![]()
Number one, I wouldn't bother. Most of what you want won't be there.
Number two, seeing as the Euro's are cancelled.I'd restart the season in May and put the new one back a few weeks. It can be done.
I remember one of sons season at under 15.
Due to them having a great season and other teams causing a fixture back log.
They were forced to play 9 games in 21 days.
Still finished the season unbeaten.
Of course todays pros are a mardy bunch

Not only mardy but for some super rich and mardy.....yuk!!
Not true...stop scaremongering!
Okay...of the things we wanted for a ‘big shop’ there was a shortage of...toilet rolls...hand wash...Weetabix...frozen oven chips (!!)...sugar (but that was resolved by going to an adjacent shop where they seemed to have the World’s supply)...pasta and tinned food.
Everything else we needed was there although I did have to go back round again because the sale of wine was restricted to three bottles per person!!
Shortages are, imo, all caused by selfishness, scaremongering and too many people having a lemming like mentality.
Was told on the way round that a local (Uttoxeter) jeweller has stockpiled 50p bottles of hand sanitizer which he is now selling at a £1! Despicable if true!!!

Interesting. I was in Sainsbury after work yesterday and it was like Madagascar after a few swarms of locusts had gone by.
No fresh produce at all - and this is a mega sized Sainsbury. No meat, no fruit bar a few brown spotted bananas, no veg apart from 2 scabby looking cauliflowers. No bread, no milk, no eggs. Virtually no frozen stuff at all, apart from a big heap of frozen butternut squash (what doe that tell you about butternut squash). No tea. Needless to say no bogroll, baked beans, soap, sanitiser, kitchen roll, paracetemol
What was there? Hair care products, a few overpriced organic vegan curry ready meals (overpriced filth!)
Talking to the staff member when I checked out - with nothing that I was looking for, but some biscuits for emergencies - people had been queuing round the block at 7 am Tuesday morning. Pathetic self centred hoarding *******s that they are. Panic? This seemed too organised for that!! I despair at the human race sometimes - where is the wartime spirit: lost amongst the "me first" society that we are forced to inhabit.
And I also blame social media for stirring up such panic. But as an avowed despiser of social media, "influencers" and the like, I would say that !
‘Wartime spirit’, GP?
Was there such a thing?
Obviously we’re too young to remember, but I believe there were plenty of wartime black marketeers and a surfeit of racketeering.
Always the same...such events bring out the best and the worst in people but I share your despair!
Companies and individuals that profit from this should be named and shamed while those on the ‘frontline’...shop workers, transport workers, NHS staff, cleaners, delivery drivers, and - probably only for another day or two - teachers etc should be given a medal.
