I set my own ethical rules - only invest in companies that I think make a positive contribution, and overcautious in making sure there’s nothing linked to my work (I promote certain technologies including to Government, all good stuff like electrical safety devices and low carbon heating but keep integrity by not investing in anything in those areas). And no fire selling when faeces starts to hit the fan as I don’t want to contribute to a recession.
I’ve bought one share in Zoom since this started, it’s a good product but of course I’m hoping the investment will pay off too. My way I don’t really see any difference to putting into a savings account, just more risky for me.
