As a former English teacher I would normally be on your case for the continued misuse of your when you mean you're, however, I am fully aware of why you keep on doing it and the result provides some amusement. Report status? Keep up the good work.

I have highlighted the word "most" from your reply to Tricky. Is it "most" or should it be "all". You might, quite correctly, point out that some of the Laws, rules and regs came from the EU but the UK Tory government could have either vetoed them completely or decided to opt out. They didn't. I can't off the top of my head think of anybody else who has inflicted those negative policies on the UK in the past decade. Please feel free to inform me and the forum of any other entity I may have missed that has inflicted negative policies on the nation in the past decade.

No I do mean most, I don't think it can be denied that Labour under Blair did continue with many policies that were not in the interests of those less fortunate in society and assisted the rich and well off - for instance they perpetuated the myth that the majority of people on benefits or unemployed were "scroungers" when in the vast majority of cases thats not true. They continued with the privatisation of the railways which has resulted in sky high fares and ironically more public subsidy being paid than in BR days, they continued the Private Fiance Initiative which has cost tax payers millions for contracts where the government bears the risk and has put unnecessary cost burdens on the NHS.

Not to mention of course a costly war which has cost by money and lives.

Yeah your right I do misuse grammar because it winds TTR up, but actually I'm not a pedant when it comes to grammar and spelling, as long as what is written makes sense and can be understood, then I'm fine with it - better than impeccable piffle with no relation to the facts.

In that case I will pick you up on your post. You stated most and in the past decade. That takes us back to 2010, the year in which the Tories came to power. Labour hasn't been in power in the past decade so maybe it should be ALL, after all.

Take your point, but if we are being picky the LIB Dems were in goverment in 2010 (indeed complicit in austerity which I would never vote for them) and many of the policies that Labour introduced continued under both the coalition and the Tories.
