The news media have been as poor as Public Health England in this crisis IMO.

Maybe it's one of the lesser known lockdown rules and you won't get on TV unless one of your rooms is set up like Waterstones bookshop
Alan Shearer looked like he was in his bathroom or something but otherwise I agree.

Just got to say, total respect to the young people at my local COOP on Worrygoose for keeping the store open day and night and all through the Easter Weekend.

I mention these youngsters as they are a much maligned group. Thank you.

Agree with that WanChai , there are thousands of people out there putting themselves at great risk in many understated areas .

Food retail and the supply chain workers deserve great credit for keeping us fed and watered in these troubling times .

These workers aren't on fantastic money by any means but their value is enormous .

So is K saying that Boris didn't say something about "taking it on the chin" in that tv broadcast? He definitely used the phrase, because I saw the broadcast live. Not sure what the rest of it was, because he seemed to lose track of what he was talking about and passed over to one of the "experts". Great leadership.

Also some advice if anyone ends up in hospital , and is treated by a junior doctor. DON'T mention Millersmad - because during the pay/working conditions dispute, the usual suspects on here were saying that the junior doctors didn't deserve a pay rise, didn't do much anyway, we already have more than enough... isn't that right , K?

We can only hope that the junior doctors are professional enough not to hold any grudges, and if they aren't, that they have made a note of who exactly was slagging them off

Millersmad - the site of shame, thanks to an unrepresentative minority of right wing nutters and multies - isn't that right, K?

    Mikey,

I'm assuming that I am K? Or are you being haunted by your chum kempo, the ghost of posters past?

Johnson did use the expression 'take it on the chin', but so did you when you posted. Does that mean that you advocate that as a policy or does context matter perhaps? As he was being interviewed on his own, I very much doubt whether he passed anything to an expert or ‘expert’ as you patronisingly put it.

No idea where the junior doctor thing came from. If you are suggesting that that I have expressed an opinion upon how much junior doctors should be paid then you are wrong. It's another figment of the imagination that delivered the view that I have said that I am politically neutral.

Right wing nutters? I assume that you mean people who do not share your view of politics? Once again the caring sharing Left shows its tolerance.

I've prosecuted and defended real right wing nutters and if you think that anyone on here falls into that category then you have a remarkably blinkered and cosseted view of the world.

I'm worried about you, Mikey. You appear to be losing your ****.

    hair?

Anyway why defend real right wing nutters !? Can't you be a bit more selective who you represent?

I dunno about you Kerr, and I don't know how things work in your line of business, but there would be certain. people I would not attempt to defend, real right wing nutters being one of them if only for my own safety.

Stick with the old ladies tripping over paving stones...
