So we were going to get a bye, then Harrowgate go winging to the FA and they cave in and let them play.

I don’t see what Harrogate have done wrong here we don’t deserve a bye.

They will want to give their fans the opportunity to maybe go to Wembley if fans are allowed in.

Looks like they weren't eligible to even play but the EFL caved in?

Notts Live has learned that the Magpies were on course to head to the final of non-league’s flagship cup competition because of Harrogate’s promotion to the Football League.

It is understood that Notts were informed by the FA that Harrogate would not be able to play the semi-final because they are technically no longer a non-league side.

But Town were desperate to play the game and their participation has now finally been given the go ahead by the FA and the EFL.

Harrogate may regret that. They're packing in a lot of games early on, perhaps will regret that later

Yes but due to Covid it has changed everything it wasn’t possible for them to get it all done before the season started.

These are exceptional circumstances I would say Ardley is moaning in case we get another shoeing.

End of the day it would be nice to win but it is not critical promotion is all that matters to me.

Just thinking about it and I realise it’s a long shot but if we were to beat Harrogate and then win the final, we could potentially go on to win it again in this seasons competition. Has this ever happened before where a club has won the same tournament twice in one season?

100% the correct decision in my opinion. Harrogate qualified for a semi-final place in the FA Trophy on merit as a non-league club. It's hardly their fault that Covid-19 pushed it back. It would be incredibly harsh to exclude them through no fault of their own.

In the scenario you've outlined, we wouldn't be winning the FA Trophy twice in a season. The season doesn't kick off until October.

Sorry Elite I disagree, If we had won the promotion game and were now playing in L2 I would say we have to many games to play so give Harrowgate the bye.

Ardley whining that Harrogate will have advantage with their fitness because they’ll have played more games. Conveniently forgetting that they’re playing two days before against a PL side in the League Cup.

Getting his excuses in early after sh!tting it in the playoff final.
