There is no Tesco on Islay with the closest one being a Texas Metro In Campbeltown.
I also own a house in Dundee where we travelled to on Wednesday 19th December 2020 and we were in living Dundee until Thursday 16th July a total of 21 weeks ind one day.
We originally planned to return to Islay the day after the rearranged home game against Arbroath FC on Tuesday 24th March.
My wife and I decided to remain in Dundee as Ninewells Hospital was close by if either of us had to be admitted if we took ill from coronavirus.
If we had returned to Islay and required to be admitted to a hospital suffering from coronavirus we would have been flown by air ambulance to a hospital in the Glasgow area. I would rather die in Ninewells Hospital than a hospital in the Glasgow area.
Thank you for your response Islay. I wrongfully assumed that you were travelling back and forth from the Island thus meaning meaning you had broken the rules.

I apologise for my mistake and as you say the incorrect information i posted on the forum.

Nice to see someone apologise when they are wrong.

    Others should take note.

I know. I'm waiting for someone to apologise for saying I get offended by getting called Jock and that I believe every word spoken by the SNP. I think I'll wait for a long time mind.

And with similar sincerity I apologise for thinking you broke the draconian Covid-19 travel restrictions.
