That's a bit harsh. I don't think he still ties a scarf around his wrist.

Right lads and lasses, that's enough of the personal insults please. Let's celebrate three wins on the bounce and try to remain civil in the process.

    Ta!

Never being at the his level before naturally significantly increases expectations of the fans. And with such history and squad budget etc the fans are right to expect a lot. We have an inherent advantage over most sides this season.

But that expectation means diddly squat on the pitch where being the biggest team is an extra incentive for all opposition we face. We are at this level of football because we deserve to be.

The obvious difference is when we win and play well the positive reaction is limited in number and extent when compared to when we lose and play poorly.

Certain posters seem to mysteriously disappear after a Notts win, which makes no sense to me all. It's gotta work both ways surely? When the next defeat or poor draw comes along, like clockwork they reappear for a justified negative comment or 12.

NCM just goes a lot more OTT on a defeat rather than a win. Tragedy is always more newsworthy than triumph but never so much as on here.

I view it as a bank, the more you put in, the more you can take out. If a manager does well, and he loses a few games there is more lenency if he has a good spell before it

Personally i was delighted with the late win, as its another 2 points that could be crucial at the end of the season, and to be fair Ardley was right we deserved to win ,and should have been ahead in the first half after 4 good chances, one that hit the wood work

I agree, there is an old saying for the press, thers no news like bad news , just look at at all the scare mongering in march because of covid, to get people to obey the restrictions

Who are the people that said Ardley was on of our best managers of recent times? I've missed this. The Pro Ardley posters tend to rightly point out surrounding detrimental matters throughout his tenure more than claim he's better than recent managers.

When DavyFacts said he's worse than Fullarton based on 12 games in L2 then someone had to say something. He's since been called the worst Notts manager not in recent times but in our history. That's when you know someone is just being silly.

For me Ardley has been a little fortunate with the owners, and has no excuses this season. His future should and will be up for discussion throughout the season I have no doubt.

Just would have been nice to make it to 5/6 league games before the expected reactions on here.

We didn't even get to the first game of the season without more than one Ardley Out threads appearing.

And then a laughable 2 mins after Dover scored we got another one started. Cos that's what was needed.

Thankfully they were all merged together by Swale
All fair points Lado .His first 12 games was worse than fullartons , and a major reason for our relegation. He was the manager that relegated us to the non league , so how is this silly its fact. I posted my anger after the Dover defeat,in fact asking where the defenders were when ransom ran loose in the area , i did,nt say he should be sacked, for me he should have been sacked after his first 12 games.
By the law of averages i said he should eventually come good.
I walk both sides of the street, i will be harsh when its warranted, but on the same token will give credit where its due , and tonight he was right, we deserved to win, and did lol

The situation surrounding Ardley is now really simple ( as long as COVID doesn't end the season early). He has no room for excuses now and he has been very well backed. We are either right up there in the mix challenging all season and he keeps on going. On the whole so far so good then. If we aren't we get rid. If that reedtz brothers don't execute that then I'll be a little surprised as he's has his cake walk and how its real deal time.

Agreed Swale , always disappointed to read the random personal insult aimed at anyone on here. But all water off a ducks back to me.

    This^^^

Ardley himself has said, no excuses this season. Promo or off for Mr A this season, nothing less will do.

Eh? Obviously I'm pro-Ardley as long as he keeps performing. I also liked both Nolan and Curle. You're clearly confusing me with another poster matey. No idea who you were thinking of but it isn't me.
