RUFC and Barnsley both planning pre-match press conferences today. As things stand, tomorrow's match at New York is on despite the Covid outbreak in the Millers camp. Would take an EFL U-turn for it to be postponed.

Just because they think we are well run that doesn't mean they want us mixing with the big boys and struggling every season.
We don't really have a business model to sustain a long stint in the division we,re in whereas other clubs are a much better fit.

Sunderland and Portsmouth have bigger grounds, a much bigger fan base, attract better players and are much more attractive to sell to the TV companies. Proven by the fact that Sky don't seem to want to show us much unless it's showcasing Ivan Toney,s skills.
bT are showing us in Jan but that's because we,re playing Everton and every fa cup match is being shown
The thing is though flour that even if the EFL managed to get all the teams that they want in to the championship, unless they ring fence it, then 3 of them would still be relegated, and who's to say it wouldn't be such as Rochdale, Accrington and Burton who went up to replace them?
Teams like Sunderland have squandered money like a lot of teams over the years, Bolton and Wigan to name but another couple, and now because of the way we are run we are absolutely deserving of not only being in this division, but being held up as a role model of how a professional football club can and should be run.
Even allowing for the teams who came up with us struggling in this league, as we are, I personally think that if ourselves, Wycombe and Coventry were all in division one with our current squads, than we would all be promoted again from division one, and the difference in quality from div one to championship football is staggering, but I really don't need to tell anyone on here that.

Where’s this come from? Not heard anything from any source. The news coming out of the club is once again non existent.

EFL have time to change their minds and cancel the game.

    Yes, I guessed it was.

Still time for a press conference and an about turn. Let common sense prevail. I cant understand why Millwall, Peterborough, Sunderland etc can cancel 3 / 4 matches and we have to wait..
