I guess by the tone of your posts that you think everyone should make their own decision on what to do.

The responsible course of action is to follow the lockdown rules.

Over 1,300 deaths in a day tells me it's pretty serious. And looks like it's rising.

It is serious. The deaths will rise and if the inevitable happens and the NHS is over run then the number of deaths will spiral further

There's more chance of catching the virus in a crowded supermarket than an open aired football field, I bet there's not many div 1/2 clubs doing more to keep players and staff safe than us.

Another who simply does not understand.

If the chance of you getting Covid is

    90% from the crowded supermarket
    10% from playing football

Go half as many times to the supermarket and stop football.

    100% is now 45%

I guess you will say that you could still play football and it is only 55%. That might be true, but that 10% across the football spectrum is significant.

We need to be removing as many possibilities of catching it as possible.

They're doing that regardless of what anybody thinks. The people who are quietly getting on with whatever they feel they need to do, I wish them well.
People going around telling everybody else what they think they should be doing or thinking, I wish they'd shut up.

So you don't think we should follow the requirements, but just do what we want to.

Ask those working on the front line in the NHS what they think about that.

If I was bothered about what anybody else thought, I might also ask people who have lost their businesses, their homes and their minds what they think about it.

Lockdown makes no difference to me, I'm effectively housebound regardless and I'm fine with that, I like where I live, I'm very lucky in that regard, People in flats and/or with noisy neighbours, I'm fine with them leaving their homes more times and for longer than required. None of my business how anybody else gets through this madness.

I am glad it's somebodies business when you see our certain people behave.

As for scrapping the season, you all need to grow a pair.

BTW I’ve had COVID symptoms since the 29th December but unless hospitalised will not be having a test.
