If you want a battle with me regarding politics then that is fine.
However I will give you a warning.
My brother and I forced Alex Salmond to stop using his SNP Scottish Independence Referendum party political broadcasts for the European elections in May 2014.
I think I've been battling with your nonsense for quite some time, typically it's you that runs from it.

Your first sentence claimed the EU were trying to dictate vaccines being imported into NI, which is false.

The only difference would be that the article invoked by the EU,albeit temporarily, would not have existed.
Actually they’re not. Germany are in trouble with EU fri the extra 30 million they ordered

They might be in trouble, but they could still do it.

The conflict seems to be that some countries didn't buy any more, and now they want some of the German vaccine, but every country was free to do the same thing

It's conjecture but if the UK was still in the EU, there would be no problems as the UK wouldn't be hoarding millions of vials of vaccine, it would be shared equally. The EU actually negotiated a far better deal but then supply problems have caused a major disruption in supply.

But once again, islay is short on facts and high on hyperbole. NI is supplied with vaccines by the UK not the EU.

The EU took the hump and made a move to stop any EU-manufactured AZ vaccine making its way from the EU into mainland UK via the NI 'backdoor', when it appeared that AZ were renaging on their contract with the EU to favour the UK - so-called vaccine nationalism, which the hard-right British nationalists approve of in buckets.

And don't even get me started on the death toll from tory austerity!!
I'm no particular fan of Boris or the Tories but it is ridiculous to claim that Boris Johnston has killed 130k people. It is just as ridiculous to claim that Nicola Sturgeon is killing Scots due to the SNP's pathetic attempt at rolling out the Vaccination programme in Scotland; currently at less than half the rate (percentage of population) as in England. Ridiculous yes but the same sort of argument you are using against Boris.

Further on the matter of Germany ordering jabs outwith the EU programme, the German government admitted they were 'wrong' and apologised to the EU. Germany are now working within the EU cartel but other EU governments, Hungary and others are jumping ship and going it alone.

It's not a claim, it's a fact. He's the prime minister, he failed to deal with the virus. It's all on him. If people die from covid in Scotland because the vaccination programme was too slow, then Nicola Sturgeon is to blame for that, that's how it works. Apparently the Scotgov vaccine teams including Jason f'n Leitch weren't aware that GPs don't open on Sundays, total incompetence. But 50,000 were vaccinated yesterday and no reason why that can't be maintained. We are being brainwashed to think the tories are doing a lot better because they went for the easy wins first, thousands of extra deaths in care homes just being ignored.

I just added up the figures given by ScotGov for the vaccines given. Total 610k Add up the figures given in the breakdown and it comes to 578399. Don't see any explanation for the difference. Help?
