So you think a good manager sits and watches his team struggle for 45 mins even though he knows why they are struggling and knows how to effect the problem?
    Strange but I'm not surprised.
Is the 2nd part aimed at me?

If we had sacked him after his first 12 games that would have meant we would have had at least 4 different managers in a single season! Read that back to yourself and think I wonder whether that would have guaranteed safety? Lol. Also remember the chairman had massively overspent, run out of money was soon to put the club up for sale so how do expect Hardy to pay off Ardley (like he had to with Nolan and Kewell) and then pay for a new management team to come in and rescue us? Magic beans?

I've comprehensively answered your question, if the relegation season hadn't have been such a disaster from start to finish and we hadn't have been relegated then Ardley would never have had 2.5 seasons.

Don't forget we had 3 managers that season, and we changed owners and entered Non league. That isn't the norm for any club, that's part of the reason he's had as long as he had IMO.

Hardy couldn't afford to sack him, the cookie jar was empty. The only option was the Danes sacked him as soon as they took over. They didn't. Since that decision he hasn't descwred to be sacked in their opinion and many Notts fans.

If he fails this season then he goes, why can't you be patient? We've wasted so many years and seasons in the past with comical chopping and changing of managers what's one more wasted season?
The other managers did not relegate , Ardley did .. Ardley relegated us , not the chairman, not the other managers, Ardley . And better us having 4 managers that season and being in league 2

Why should we be patient, we are getting sick of this drivel, every match, negative and defensive football played out the back, even today against Havent & W

You're obsessed with proving to all and sundry that Ardley is to blame for everything that happens that's bad. How about a little credit for the good to balance things up Davy? You said a few days back that you thought you were being even handed but that seems to have gone back out of the window ever since. If you posted in a more balanced way people would be more prone to consider the negatives you point out more seriously IMHO.

The weirdest part isn't that he totally ignores the awful points return before Ardley was appointed that season. He wasn't responsible for any of that.

The weirdest part is he blames Ardley totally for the relegation yet doesn't blame the man who hand picked him, who tried to bring him earlier when Kewell was appointed and the same man who (wrongly) sacked his beloved Nolan after just a handful of games that season.

Anyone who can can separate the obvious direct link between Hardy and Ardley when it comes to blame is something very very special. If anyone follows that logic let me know.

    That's our DavyFacts lol

Same as you blame everybody apart from him , Ardley accepted the job, knowing full well the situation., and relegated us . Wonder what Cambell felt like at Macclesfield then ??
have you answered the question about who you would blame if the electrician you hired, messed the job up ??

You said this before even though someone helpfully pointed out to you that a certain poster has had years of past history with long tedious drawnout petty arguments based on personalities not so much football nor Notts. How quickly you forget Gump.

So far since my selfless promise it's worked out exactly as I expected. How many days to go?

Everyone acting as I thought they would. In fact their was a noticeable peak in activity from the usual suspects naturally aimed in my direction. Plenty of name checks, posts in my direction and of course multiple quotes of my posts by my No1 fan. Addicted? Obsessed? Both?

As always happy to answer any Notts related questions when asked. Ideally Ken and DavyFacts don't bring up the well covered 'who is to blame for the relegation season' for the up****th time but it's freedom of speech so all good.

I'm more than happy to try and point out the link between Hardy and Ardley and the records of Nolan and Kewell that season for the 6th time#noagenda

    Slowly slowly catchy monkey.

No again you are making things up. I partly blame Ardley for that season he was the manager in charge for the longest period. I just don't blame him anywhere near as much as the guy who hand selected him and appointed him. After sacking manger #1 after 5 games and giving manager #2 a whole 10 weeks in charge. How could anyone not blame Hardy a little when he was pulling the strings at the club and making the big decisions. Don't answer that Davy for the love of God don't answer that.

Yes I have "the Electrician", in fact I answered it twice. It was an awful analogy that brought nothing to the table and isn't comparable to the world of football.
