With the only thing that Westminster has got right the vaccine we are not going back into lockdown. We have been cautious as phuck in Scotland but we still stay locked down longer than England.
Why did we ever FN bother?.We should be opening up before them,FACT.I honestly thought there would be an FN prize at the end but no we get shafted, sorry but i am FN gutted tonight.

I agree, get the majority vaccinated, even it’s just the first jab, and then begin relaxing restrictions. The Scottish Government are right to ca’ canny, let’s get this right this time! IMO it would be the Major phukk up of all time if they opened everything up, only to shut it all down again a couple of weeks later.

Seriously? It was all about protect the vulnerable, and not overwhelm the NHS. All the vulnerable (or majority of them) have had their initial vaccine, hospitalisation has dropped dramatically over recent weeks, so based on current numbers, surely now was the time to go back to the tier levels (or as we go into March), not the end of fecking April. The economy needs restarted, people need a boost, as this is affecting many people financially and mentally. This virus will never go totally away, and we’ll be living with it, just like we do the flu, and other strains, for the forseeable future. Vaccines will continually be developed as required, to cope with different strains.
My money is on the wee sh!te looking for political gain, and hope it backfires big time!!

They don't have to open everything up though. They can put us into the relevant tiers that we were in previously. Numbers surely wouldn't rocket as they did at Christmas with so many of our population having been vaccinated. We've sacrificed so much the last year, the least we deserve is to be given a chance to get some kind of normality back as the current data suggests we should. Sturgeons new motto is DATA NOT DATES, well the data suggests we SHOULD NOT be locked up in tier 4.

BTW there were 3 cases detected in Aberdeen today out of 207,000 and everything remains closed for another 2 months.
G I get we’ve out performed England and we should have, they have 50 million more people that us

I really dinnie understand the political gain narrative on this board from some posters, its an FN disaster for those who thought independence was back on the table including me.
I am seriously considering resigning from my party and bear in mind i have been a member going back to the days when the SNP were a laughing stock,Labour ruled my country and Scottish independence was as likely as the Dees winning a major,FACT.

You have to remember though that there is something like a 3-5 day lag with those figures. I have to say that Edinburgh City were im sure doing quite a bit better than us, but a week later, the roles are reversed.

Gutted mate, I’m away in a couple of weeks for a few months and thought I’d be coming back to some normality but it’s not looking like it

I'm sure I heard at FMQ today an MSP congratulating Tayside health board for having vaccinated a third of the total adult population of the area...
