What's high profile got to do with anything? He was a number 2 with very little responsibility. Courts is about to be asked to manage our football club.

Sorry, wasn't trolling, but I guess it was a bit off topic. Was curious because we were talking about different types of managers whether it was something that could/should be discussed. I accept though that this is a topic for a couple of months down the line.

Guessing it's TA's job to manage the club?If so seems to be doing not a bad job got us out of that horrible league kept us up and the youth set up seems to be going from strength to strength under his management and appointments.Still won't be too chuffed if it turns out to be true that he sacked MM just to get his son promoted and put courts in charge of first team just to have a yes man there.

See this is what I don't get. Why would TA want a yes man as first team coach? Do people really believe that TA thinks he knows better than a football manager about the game? I'd imagine TA making decisions that are hard for the first team coach, whatever they are, and it looks like this has pushed MM away. We'll probably never get the real story though.
