Surley positive only works for something you can control is yourself, not one of us has control something like your football team, we all go to the game hoping we win and if we play well its a bonus, but no control how we play. If you don't have a good enough team on the park positive or negativer matters not a jot.

By your own admission, negative achieves nothing either. A positive mindset may not achieve anything football wise but is surely healthier?

Agreed mate. He is a great option for us and I'd say he should be our first choice right winger. Desperately need a Conway type out on the left though.

Yes, or at least the option to play Chalmers and A.N.Other should the need arise.

Robson going would be a blow, many don't rate him but he did a solid enough job last season in his first year in the top flight, very experienced player in a key position, one we don't have a decent back up for

Good because i want him to stay,if we are not gonna sign anyone we cannot afford to lose any first team regulars from last season including Benji and LOA.
We should not be signing any player released by a relegated club though especially not to replace Benji,the points difference between the two keepers will probably be relegation or survival that's how important that position is.

I've no problem with him staying either GB. Not sure why you think we won't sign anyone though?

This business about laptops and ipads is a weird thing to bash the club with. What's the suggestion? Ignore technology and how it can be used to improve player performance? Sorry, but that's just odd and it goes totally against the ethos our club has had since JYM took over and revolutionised everything (for the time and going forward).

Edited to add: even my daughter uses a GPS tracker to chart her training and match performance. If I ever heard United weren't doing that then I'd be seriously concerned.

Yeah Rogers shouldnt be anywhere near the no1 jersey. If he is signed as back up to Benji or a new no1 then fair enough.

He is strange one as he was really highly rated at Aberdeen and had those great loan spells at Falkirk too. But at Morton and Killie he has looked really poor. Dont fancy him at all.

If we sign him as no.1 I can safely say we're f*cked. As good as he was at Falkirk, we should be setting our sights a lot higher. I don't think he will be though.

Its not that i don't think we will sign anyone but from a distance it does appear that only released players without a club are willing to come to us.If there is any other club interested in a player we want they seem to swerve us and go to our rivals.
I am not entirely convinced we are really pushing hard to bring in players either but its imperative that we bring in a good keeper as a number 1 or 2.
