Maybe I'm just pi55ed off from being excited to watch the new regime kick off and then sit through what was a carbon copy of last season. It is very early days. Its still pre-season no matter how much we dress it up. Plenty time to get it right in terms of recruitment etc but Butcher in a back 3 with Smith and Neilson on the bench? Hmmmm. Seems a bit of a panic move for me. Pawlett and Clark behind Shanks when we know it doesnt work.

[QUOTE=shedka;39816730]Harkes is a good player just needs to show it more, Aberdeen away shows how good he can be and he is at a good age

A lot has been said about Aberdeen away,it was probably the first time last season that Clark,Shankland and McNulty actually worked. We were playing the worst Sheep side in many a year.Harkes cannie be judged on that game alone. He is a Jekyll and Hyde player tonight it was Hyde as it is most weeks, sorry but that's the truth.

The alarming thing is some of our worries relating to Tam being forced into playing too many young players in the side that Micky would never have agreed to may have to happen. What is ironic is they very same players maybe our salvation because some of the experienced players given extended contracts by The Big Man are simply not good enough to play in the Premiership,i do accept though we cannot play a team full of young players.

I am getting right behind Tam and some of them players shouting back at him need to take a long hard look at themselves because they were poor in the first half and deserved a kick up the erse.
Regardless of whether this is true or not this single issue is the biggest risk in appointing TC, senior player respect. Will he get time to earn that? I hope so but he really needs them onside from the off.
