It's not the first time we have shown our cards too early regarding interest in players (maybe not us, maybe the media) Paranoia I know, but I was beginning to suspect other clubs were using us as barometer then moving in themselves. Also think we used to openly show interest towards certain available players (that we were never gonna get) to keep the fans happy that we were at least trying.

If the cards this time are being held closely to the chest and we sign a good player under the radar, I will be over the moon. If the deafening silence is due to nout actually happening, I would have preferred as some have said , to have been given some info, no matter how little.

Still can't believe we are going in to this really important season without a couple more signings at least. But.... if it is down to the money, just tell us it is down to the money.

Did we not sign Edwards & Fuchs after the season had started last year?

Every team would like to get there new recruits in early, and get them training and playing pre-season games with their team mates asap. But TBF on the club, sometimes it's worth waiting for the right player.

It paid off with Fuchs. And if we can bring similar quality to him in - albeit a few weeks into the season - I think it will be worth the wait.

But we definately need one or two in that will automatically be contenders for a 1st team Jersey.

This is the best SPL since, well...... the days oh the Sporting Post.

All the usual suspects are in there, be it be it finance , crowds, derbies, etc.

Yeah if they all have better players than us then they are being run better than us and are better teams than us have no arguement there teams with the best players are the best teams.Does not mean I am going to turn on utd I am hoping you are wrong and with our young guys and experienced players we are better than those teams you have mentioned that you think are better than us.You never mentioned that motherwell lost 17 players who were out of contract at the end of last season?

So 9 in so far, and a Finnish international CB today makes 10.
