A great player for us and certainly stepped up when we needed him to, just a pity the team weren’t set up to get the best out of him last season, could have raised double what has been agreed. A player who will always be welcomed back at Tannadice with real affection.

A lot's been mentioned about the way we've been set up that's hampered him but we never really had the creativity in midfield or out wide to give him more opportunities which is a real shame so hopefully the money he goes for allows us to bring in a midfielder that can actually not give the ball away all the time.

Cmon Robbie where is that money bid for Butch?....then we can really put a player in with Fuchs who can play a bit.

I honestly don't even think we got the best out Shankland in the Championship, that might sound ridiculous given his goal ratio that season, but there were loads of games when the service was brutal to him and we'd rely on him taking the one chance that came his way. His goals got us out the championship, and i'll always be grateful to him for that.

Belgian press saying Shanks is currently en route to Belgium. They're quoting £1m. Good deal for all. Hopefully able to strengthen team overall.

Sorry to be pedantic, not meaning to be a smartarse but Belgian articles says 1million euros which I think makes it just shy of 850k. Still good money for us at this stage tho..
