First chance I’ve had to see the red card, and it was ridiculous. It would have been highly contentious in a league game, but to give it in a meaningless pre-season friendly simply beggared belief. Apart from that, a good comeback with 10 men.
I agree. Loads of peeps have said online ''It's a straight red in a League match'', I disagree, there was barely a shirt tug and then what looked like a clash of bodies. Yellow card all day, every day for me, even in a League match.

I didnt think it was even a foul.He played the ball and Dallas took a dive...
Still to pull 2 goals back with 10 men is a good team effort and bodes well for the games ahead.

Ridiculous red for me but that is the standard of refereeing we will enjoy all season long yet again so best get used to it. The red card did make more sense than the recent ruling not to move to 7 subs without providing any explanation though. As others have said lucky to be a red in a league game but the red in the friendly when Roberts got hammered without any yellows for Solihull in the second half and as Mr Birchnall mentioned excuse given was "its a friendly" is beyond stupid. Not easy being a football manager at this level and having to deal with such astounding inconsistency and incompetence.
