Watched a couple of interviews with Kewell since he took charge of Barnet. I have nothing against Kewell, possibly a bit arrogant, thought he was harshly treated by Hardy. Anyway, my point is, his interviews were exactly what you’d expect from a manager/ex-player. Stereotypical sound bites. Complete contrast to Burchnall who comes across very intelligent, certainly in the football world. A breath of fresh air.

And, I know, football matches aren’t won based on who sounds the best in an interview.

Barnet away is, I think, a game we should win.

    Agreed. That's why I'm predicting a draw or a narrow 1-0 loss.

I can't imagine Kewell bearing a grudge against Notts in particular, Hardy perhaps, but that's not Notts now.

Thanks to Jacob's great preview post I see that Banet have signed jamie Turley.
If a remember a gritty determined defender but prone to the odd mistake when he played on loan for us.
I sense a hat full of goals for us, let's hope we can keep them out at the other end.
    4-2 notts ...

Now that would be great and funny. Think the lack of chances of going to a live match and the first match of the season combined will swell their numbers. However think we can cancel out the majority of that vocal home advantage.

Committed would be a word I would use. But at the time we were shipping goals for fun and he was seen as an improvement on Brisley et al
