I don't think butcher was ready for 90 minutes so started on the bench. He has a strapping on his hamstring when he came on.

I have a strapping on my back nearly every week and I could run about a pitch for 90mins.😜

Sevco Celtic Hearts Hibs and Aberdeen have better players than us overall, so to beat them you need a few things to happen that work in your favour. We did those things well v Sevco and St Johnstone, maybe no coincidence that they were in back to back European competition. Without adding some quality it's not going to be easy. Saying that, on another day we get a point and would gave considered it decent.

I feel we're progressing but I think the decision not to replace Shankland will kill our top 6 hopes.

Maybe this Finnish lad will add a threat we've been lacking.
Yup, asking a 4 man midfield to compete against a 5 is hard enough but put it like you have there and they had no chance.

The half empty glass is asking where are our goals coming from this season as we have only managed 2 in 4 games and none scored by a striker.
The half full glass is saying FFS G we are on 6 points and you predicted none.
I think without a striker who has a physical presence we are in for a long hard season. Tony had a point when he asked the question"Were you happy with the football being played last season?."
He may well be saying the same to us at end of this season after he has fired Tam.A manager or Head Coach however can only be as good as the players he is given and to be frank i think Tam is working with one hand tied behind his back.

We played the way we should have for only 15 minutes today. Hearts are maybe 2nd top of the league just now but aren't great and will struggle to make top 6 - we treated them like they were Barcelona. A good team would have been 3 or 4 up at half time.

That today was totally unacceptable. No game plan, no belief, no composure, no urgency.

I don't know why, but over the last 5 or 6 years with different players, managers and backroom staff, today was a performance that we have seen again and again and again.

I don't have any answers as to why we turn in so many similarly insipid performances but I do know that crowds will dwindle if people are asked to pay £28 to watch that tedious, heartless p!sh much longer.

There's many who don't rate McNulty and there's many that don't rate Clark at this level.
Play them together and there's many that say they would only score goals with Messi and Iniesta behind them.
I wouldn't dare to agree with that because I'd be called negative.
The failure to replace Shankland is negligent.

And to add insult to injury I fully expect Shankland to be facing us next season.

Clark is a waste of a Jersey.

The thing is, most of us still don't know if Clark and McNulty are any good - they are forced to feed off long punts up the park week in , week out.

What were we hoping to get out of our forwards today with the tactics we deployed?
