I replied to one thread about this where I didn't say he shouldn't be our patron saint, just that it was made up meaningless nonsense. My consistent point being that people should just get on with enjoying life and stop obsessing over pointless stuff.

What's difference between her & non-brits getting into this country by crossing channel on a dinghy or rest that get here. Message is coming ss once your here you are now British. Can't have one rule cause she's doing well at tennis & another for rest. They are all non-brits by country they were born in.

A lot of the previous England cricket team where born in South Africa .. KP for one .. He has a 3 lions tattooed on his leg. Also Emma Watson was born in Paris . is she French? .Its up to the individual what country she represents she has spent 16 of her18 years here schooled here grew up here imho it would be strange for her to rep either Romania or Canada . She British she ours and it refreshing to see how good she actually is .
