It's hard to make a comparison on prices, because at this level a seat at Meadow Lane would rate as a 5 star experience, and a seat (or more likely standing) at many other clubs would be budget 2 star at best. Nowhere else in the world would 5th tier clubs get the level of support they do here, and a personal example I can give is my adopted Portuguese club Portimonense. They now play at the top level, and the likes of Benfica, Porto, and Sporting Lisbon are among their opponents in league games. Their stadium holds 5,000, and their average gate is a bit less than 2,000. When I first watched them as a Division 2 club it cost me 5 euros, and the second time I watched them in the top division it cost me 10 euros. I've only seen the two games there, and I've enjoyed them both but the atmosphere has never come close to Meadow Lane, even when we are losing. Whatever the numbers say, our support is brilliant.

The reply from IB went something along the lines of, statistically most goals scored are one-touch into the net. It came across to me that the players are encouraged to keep the passing going until they can score like Arsenal rather than shoot. Don’t know if anyone else remembers that and if they read it as I did.
I wonder whether that question inspired today's training video from Notts on social media?

You can have all the data you want but you can’t buy experience, and with having experience you can then use the data effectively. TBH I think IB is a little naive to think it’s just 11 players against 11. He needs to do a lot more to convince me he is the right man for the job.
Elite’s response cover your top comment. I would also add, I’ve seen more on the pitch that gives cause for optimism than cause for concern about it going horribly wrong.

You can’t buy experience. Burchnall does have experience. Klopp has no experience of managing in the NL, does that mean he can’t?

    Is it not 11 v 11?

Viewers will react to that clip differently for sure. To me it jarred as something not quite right.
I think the key is Burchnall didn’t tell him, he suggested.

The attention to detail came from Burchnall and off the back of his observation he made the suggestion.

And one he'd do well to ignore I think.
The more you can put into your game the more you will get out of it and increase your chances of having a lucrative career. The best put in hours of practice on their skills.

I thought it was smart point made by IB in order to train him to focus under stress. If he only has 8 attempts he will care more about each one. Just my take at the time.

And your entitled to your view. I do think your looking for something that isn’t there.

Ruben may well have said ‘look gaffer, I’d prefer to keep doing what I’m doing’ and Burchnall replied ‘ok, crack on’. Of course Ruben may have decided to run with Burchnall’s suggestion.
