I wondered why he wanted out of Lyon Will, or why Lyon were happy to let him go, I thought maybe he's not the player we're hoping he is. I was told by my man on the inside at Lyon that he wanted out because of the internal situation at the club, it was all going Pete Tong at the back end of last season and it was not a happy place to be plying your trade. Turns out I had no reason to worry, he had good reason to want to leave and he seems very much the player we hoped we were signing, and then some.

I also said I doubted very much he'd still be here next season, I'll stick with that one for now, for two reasons, I'll be very surprised if he can settle in this part of the world, and I'll be very surprised if a bigger club doesn't make us an offer for him we can't refuse, which Norder alludes to in Post 60.

Oh yes Warmy, that's for later, for now we've got the most entertaining player since Glenn Little to watch. Next season can take care of itself.

I tried to delete my posts because I thought they were stupid and some words my English is not good enough to deliver this early in the morning... but you have answered them respectfully... so thank you for that.
Yes Cornet has delivered more than we could dream, (on and off the pitch) and long may it last. Hopefully he'll be at the club another year, but as you say, let's enjoy for now! And I am amazed that Dyche gave him a chance so early.

No problem for me Will, I said on here I was dubious about this signing, you're perfectly entitled to ask if I'd revised my opinion.

Yesterdays first half is the best I have seen us play all this season. Our next game is Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, I hope that we do not go there and try to contain them as Newcastle did, we so what that produced. I think that Cornet could surprise them, as we will if we play like we did yesterday.

Looks to me like he’s enjoying life at the minute at little old Burnley , but you may be right about him moving on to bigger and better things, but if we’re honest that’s just football if we make £40 / 50 million on our fee than all well and good.

We’ll always be fighting that , we just need to keep finding gems along the way and enjoy it while he’s here for the ride.
