Stats like that are made to make things look better than they actually are. I bet it doesnt include all of the goals we have conceded from crosses into the box. Not just this season, but last season aswell...Its those deficiancies, together with our inabillity to convert the scoring chances we create that will keep us in this crappy league..

Birchnall will tell you that we are making progress and our aim is to get back into the foorball league. In truth we are no better off than when we got relegated. We still get beat by the likes of Altrincham, Eastleigh and Woking and are told these are decent sides, Really! If thats progress then god help us if we do ever manage to get promoted..

Your first sentence is factually correct, but your second is up for debate. You could still be right, because until we get back into the Football League in terms of league position we are no better off than when we were relegated. We might be better off in other ways, but for me it counts for little until we become ‘The Oldest Football League Club in the World ‘ again.
