The thread shows that we’re averaging 0.55 goals per game from set pieces this season and only conceding 0.36.

Stats like that are made to make things look better than they actually are. I bet it doesnt include all of the goals we have conceded from crosses into the box. Not just this season, but last season aswell...Its those deficiancies, together with our inabillity to convert the scoring chances we create that will keep us in this crappy league..

Your first sentence is factually correct, but your second is up for debate. You could still be right, because until we get back into the Football League in terms of league position we are no better off than when we were relegated. We might be better off in other ways, but for me it counts for little until we become ‘The Oldest Football League Club in the World ‘ again.

ps don’t worry about being accused of finding negatives in a supposed ‘positive thread’. Only halfwits would see it as being just one way. Every thread should be open to opposing viewpoints, or this board would become a farce.
