Our lass was moved into the Sample room( Sewing factory) from the production line in the early 90's. She also moved on to "staff", out of the 12 ladies working in there it took nearly 18 months to see all 12 together at work. Bad back, depression and stress were the favourites........needless to say all the work ended up "off shore" and closed down soon after.
She now runs production and technical assistance to factories in the Far East for a Sheffield based company(Barbot hall originally).
