This is essentially what happened a wee while ago when contact traced, and all of the contacts were fine. Ok, everyone cannot be that lucky, but i believe that most test and trace vaccinated contacts are found negative.
Yup, self isolating for 10 days regardless of test result is nonsense. Makes a complete mockery of being vaccinated.

FWIW I see the self isolation period is about to be cut to 7 days.

Here's what really pysses me off,the mayor of London has declared a major incident yet 60,000 people are allowed to go and watch Spurs or Arsenal they are also allowed to board a train to Scotland after the game so what the phucks the point of us having restrictions if infected people are free to travel here?.

This variant made it to London from South Africa nae bother so its gonna be coming over the border between England and Scotland with ease.If a country next door 10 times the size of Scotland have virtually no restrictions there really isna any point in us having different rules.

As long as England does nothing and the border remains open we will be doing 3 weekly review's till at least the end of the season and can forget about attending a game for months. We cannot reduce cases if there are no travel restrictions and that's a FACT.

The rules regarding Covid in the Bedsit are truly baffling mate,me and my partner are both triple vaccinated she works in a doctors surgery and i as you know work outdoors.

If someone in the Bedsit tests positive i must close down my fresh air outside business for 10 days even if i produce a negative PCR test however she MUST attend her NHS job on the back of negative less reliable LFT and is allowed to mix with sick patients.

It is possible for me to work an 8 hour shift and have no contact with any of my customers but i must on the shielding list stay in the same house as a person infected with Covid 19.

I thought under current rules that any home contacts were to isolate for 10 days, hence why there are so many self isolating just now?

Health Care Workers are exempt from self isolating (including if it’s a household contact) so long as they meet the criteria as described by GB. Thee are other ‘essential’ sectors who can do this also.

There was an add-on to that Chick last few days. Lots of bullet points etc. But double jagged and boosted can go back to work after a negative PCR test. There are more scenarios, but it left things too open for ambiguity (if that's a real word) It can be abused if required.

The way my wife talks about cases at her work, i think she has to be exempt as well, but i cannot ignore management misunderstanding as had that when i was contact traced.

Regarding what Jason Leitch has said, he should be up front with people and tell us what actual data they have to justify their actions.
