And yet we are sitting above them and within a chance of going fourth. Whether we win 1-0 or 6-0 it’s still just three points.
Yes the football is horrible to watch, don’t think anyone could disagree.

I just went and had a look at his after match comments and saw the ‘wave after wave’ bit , however, he did state he would always put a positive spin. I have also been told he claimed we are now ‘unbeaten in four, apart from the fiddlers defeat’ and that made me smile.

The current league position would confirm that the scarcity of goals scored isn’t as much of an issue as some claim it to be, and like I’ve said win on Tuesday will most likely take us to fourth, and if that’s happen should we still look out our Tam Courts GTF banners?
Yes a win could take us to 4th but a win against the team at the bottom of the league who also played most of the 2nd half with 10 men yesterday could have extended our lead in the league over the Sheep.2 massive points dropped and a missed opportunity and these types of missed opportunities could be pivotal come the end of the season. By the way I'm not wanting Tam out, far too early for that but at the same time I don't think the Tam Puss Shutting Champion banner will be out again any time soon.

I'm sure the RC fans also enjoyed the 43 goals they've conceded too...

For what its worth still looks a hell of a lot better than ours..19 goals is fk abysmal whatever way you look at it, i am sure we never scored that all last season either.. this is just going to be a struggle until we get a proper manager, i am not saying its easy but somewhere we need to find one. that is my opinion for what its worth i would love to see Tam come good, but looks to me so far out of his depth,, but hey ho onwards and fk knows where were going..lol

I'm not disagreeing that scoring goals is an obvious problem for us just pointing out there are two sides to that particular story.

scoring goals is of course what everyone wants to see, It where most of the entertainment comes from but I do think having a solid defence is a better foundation to build from than having goals go in at both ends.

We know where we have to improve, the sad part is we have known that now for a while and done an awful job of fixing it both with the lack of signings and the quality of some of the ones we have brung in the forward areas ie McNulty and Niskanen who are both brutal.

McNulty I'll completely agree with but I think Niskanen has looked pretty decent when he's came on in recent matches.

Bet Niskanen and McNulty both in your team for tomorrow

And despite the plaudits have won 1 in 6

They are like us under jobbie, which was brutal but we were decent going forward at times

It's like people forget we were utter shyte for 8 years from 1998-2006, conceded for fun every season, if was horrendous, lost for fun, we pretty much went every year getting to the split having won 4/5 games before a late flurry saved our bacon finishing 9th-11th... until sir Craig Levein turned us round which led to a class era from 2007-2015 before the shyte that followed until we were saved by Ogren and its been upward trajectory since,it'll still take ages to get back to anything like the Levein/Houston to early McNamara years consistency wise but we are on the right path

I really like the lack of goals conceded this season, long may it continue, I'll take that over scoring loads and conceding more every day of the week as that period from 98-06 really was soul destroyingly awful, this season is night and day to that even taking into account that losing run we had, those managers got 2-3 seasons each too without huge fan pressure ,wr endured duff, mccracken, stillie and co for bloody years and never got close to sorting the defence till Levein came in, signed Willie, Dods, Kalvenes, Kovacevic and the Monk etc, the current team is better tush any of that crap from before, especially defensively
