This “World's Oldest Football League Club” thing is a bit daft, isn’t it? “World’s Oldest Professional Football Club” I can understand - and Notts still has that title. But the Football League is nothing like its original form, with three more divisions these days (and why not make the National League a 5th division?). No other country has a directly comparable set up, does it? Is the distinction between “league” and “non-league” even a thing in the rest of the world?
