Harkes if fit will always play, cause he "runs about a lot "Time for a change. 4-3-3 isn't working. Harkes, Pawlett & McNulty aren't working.

.......Niskanen Mochrie Watt
.....................Clark
Based on:
Freeman being injured & both he & McMann showing they aren't as effective in the wing back role. Both seem to need support ahead of them. McMann is a shadow of the player he was. Graham won't offer as much as McMann is capable of in an attacking sense, but McMann hasn't shown that for months so we won't miss it. Happy playing the better defender (on current from) in Graham at left back. Mulgrew injured so Butcher to remain. He's arguably better there than in midfield and gives us a better option at playing out from the centre of defence than Graham would if moved across.
Last chance for Levitt on current form. Was a toss up between him and Akinola tbh but I went for the experience of playing in this team. Mcdonald has to come in at some point. If he's fit enough for the bench then he should be able to start. He may give us that composure and eye for a forward pass that we are badly missing.
Mochrie to play the supporting striker role. We're badly needing some form of creativity. Harkes & Pawlett are simply not playing well enough right now, so why not give the kid a chance? Niskanen to return with Watt on the other side. Watt's spent most of his Utd career in a deeper role which has only isolated his strike partner and congested the midfield, so let's actually play him there. He can have a controlling influence whilst still getting into the forward areas. All three have to support Clark as much as possible. Not entirely happy with Clark on his own up front, but we don't seem to have the players to allow us to play formations that allow two strikers without having square pegs in round holes.
