"Terror attack are part and parcel of living in a big city"

What he actually said;
“Part and parcel of living in a great global city is you’ve got to be prepared for these things, you’ve got to be vigilant, you’ve got to support the police doing an incredibly hard job, you got to support the security services.”

Its quite easy to throw misleading statements like this one, to make the reader believe something else and provoke an emotional reaction.

Another example of why reading and believing anything in the Daily Mail or The Sun is not only not credible, but completely worthless. Their agenda is to influence the masses against any person or group that is problematic to them.

This has absolutely happened with the EU; And now its happening with the BBC. Its a shame we have such a gullible electorate in this country.

I was school educated in Oldbury, so I don't think it was any better or worse educated than anyone else - up to school leaving age anyway.

I wish I could find a reliable news source....problem is there isn't any anymore.
They are all in the pocket of big business. Governments don't even have that type of power....the likes of which Facebook, Amazon wield to much power. They are out of control......

Russell Brand is a name you mention on this site will get ridiculed and made out to be another lefty loon. However, he’s had so many plaudits from the typical right for the topics he covers on his youtube. All worth a watch, particularly the things he address on how MSM use certain news (old news to recycle) to highlight when it suits them to push an agenda or narrative. For instance, the big MSM can’t pull the audience numbers such as Joe Rogan.. so they’ve gone on the offensive trying to cancel him and it’s not worked. People are slowly waking up to the tactics MSM are using. Nobody even believes them anymore.. in all honesty my closest friends are more reliable, what they say allows me to make my own opinion. Joe Rogan came out and apologized for his past and had a lot of support from the black community. But they still trying dirty his channel for inviting or getting sceptical view points around covid etc. Yes he has had controversial figures and does smoke etc but his real talking style, and not pretending to be some broadcast appeals to many.

And you might have some justifiable criticisms of some of them, I do as well. But if you agree with these rags that every one of the above are wrong/to blame/at fault then the RW press are doing their job extremely effectively by influencing or manipulating your viewpoint. That is their aim and objective.

Your premise that their 'aim and objective is influencing or manipulating viewpoints' is incorrect. Their number 1 objective is to sell more newspapers and if they can do that by dishing the dirt on anyone or organisation whatever their persuasion they will do so.

On the subject of Sadiq Khan I don't feel well enough informed to comment on his performance but his 'days or weeks to sort Met Failings' is just plain stupid.

The chances of the Daily Express criticising Brexit and making a balanced viewpoint from a Remain perspective is about as likely as us being promoted this season, and then winning the Premier League next year, and then winning the Champions League the year after that.

It is very rare these RW rags turn against the Conservatives, if they do they typically do it on an individual basis because they want a new man or woman at the top.

I would argue, that yes sales are important, but the owners of these papers crave as much influence as they can wield with the ruling powers more. Although both go hand-in-hand.

In order that you have a informed opinion of owners and their influence I suggest you listen to yesterday's The Media Show on Radio 4 entitled 'The Relationship between the press and those running the country' with Times Editor John Witherow employee of a Brexit supporting owner.

Unless the man is telling a pack of lies you will understand the owner just lets him get on with it.
