Really? Well when you’ve stitched your sides back up perhaps you’d explain why my ‘examples’ - Germany in October, a Derbyshire Supermarket and the DCFC club shop last Saturday - are less of a ‘different’/valid environment than yours on your upcoming trip to Bavaria or GP’s from Croydon Station.
You’re obsessed with race and ethnicity. Andy likewise, although perhaps to a lesser extent, as is illustrated with his fixation regarding how many Black and Asian faces appear on TV.
What, imo, we would be better focusing our attention on is what is the motivation behind the Government’s sudden proposed relaxation of the rules. Is it premature and political or thought through and science based? Is it backed by the scientists who guided us through all this for so long? Or is it to deflect attention from the PM’s failings and dishonesty?
All infinitely more interesting than how many Black people GP spotted wearing a mask on a windy railway station or how many predominantly white people I saw wearing a mask in Derby’s club shop last match day...imo.
There's none so blind as those who chose not to see, Andy.
And incidentally is it "infinitely more interesting"? Real life, real people as opposed to politicians?
Actually it might be slightly more interesting than seeing no-one.... as I did. Plus, by the way, it was on the train, not in the station: platform rules are different I believe to in carriage rules. You really need to up your English Comprehension 😀

I have no fixation on the subject rA, its an observation. My fixation (or rather my reluctance to drop the subject) was Swales', and to a lesser extent your own, refusal to accept it as a fact. I've now provided Swale with independant evidence to back up my observation which he has accepted, and has moved on to asking 'so what?' - actually a valid question that deserves an answer.
I would add that whilst the statistical facts appear to back up your observation, in reality I very much doubt that 23% as against 13% is significant enough for you to notice in your casual observation of TV and other media would actually lead you to believe there was as you put it "an over representation" of BAME people, more that on this occasion happy coincidence seems to back up your observation.
However, I am on to the "so what?" bit of this, because why you made the comment is of interest, as indeed is why GP seems so interested in why a certain race from his casual observation aren't wearing masks.
