Sad about CKR...might be his ‘game over’ too.
It was game over a long time ago, as I posted then. It was clear that without the ability to strengthen in January we would run out of steam, in fact it was worse than that we lost players and gained none. Hopeless task, ah well hopefully we will still have a club, but now might be the time to incur that 15 pt deduction!!

Suspect you’re right, Swale, and have done for a while...and yet, at half time yesterday we were within two points of Reading and possible safety.
Unfortunately there were another 45 minutes to play and we all know what happened, including another crucial injury.

Looking at the weekend fixtures...we have to hope that Blackburn’s second half performance against us will reenergise them at Reading on Saturday and that our battered, injury hit heroes can come up with something against Coventry. The gap would then be back to three and no one gives up in those circumstances. Should it be defeat for us and victory for Reading then even the healthiest of optimists will have to admit defeat.

Thats fine except, Barnsley are on form and have a game in hand, Reading will likely join us in the relegation zone and maybe thats fair, the two clubs that breached FFP rules go down.

Yes anything is possible, but the evidence suggests we are running out of steam and fit players. I haven't been able to see us escaping once we lost players and didn't gain any in January.
